MEM and Delta Air Lines held a fantasy flight to the North Pole for a group of children that included patients from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. After taxiing to the North Pole, special friends there to greet them, including Santa and his elves; Anna and Elsa from “Frozen”; the River City Balloons; Pouncer from the University of Memphis Tigers; the Chick-Fil-A cow; the West Tennessee Therapy Dogs and many others. The event was a great success for the airport and Delta, but more importantly it provided a happy time and wonderful memories for these special children and their families.
